Is The Seller’s Advantage program the same as a discount brokerage?

No. Some discount brokers charge a flat fee to sell your home. This flat fee often includes up-front payments of $500 to $1000 to list your home, whether or not you sell. Additionally, a flat fee broker will charge you when your home sells, usually another $1000-1500, AND a three-percent (3%) commission for the buyer's agent. On a $250,000 home, that three-percent commission alone is $7500! That means you could at over $9000 to sell your home through a flat-fee brokerage! 

Some discount brokerages advertise a 5% commission, but that is still a higher cost than The Seller’s Advantage program. Our program charges you 3%, plus $1000 for a buyer's broker, if a buyer's broker from another company sells your home.
